Lee Cronin nominated for Breakthrough Director at The Saturn Awards 2019
Writer/Director Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground) has been announced as one of the nominees in the inaugural Breakthrough Director category at this years Saturn Awards. The brand new award will be voted on by fans and presented at this year’s ceremony, taking place on September 13th at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood.
Magali Barbe’s This One Time accepted for three more film festivals
This Time Away – the sci-fi short written and directed by Magali Barbe – has recently been selected for three more film festivals. In September, the Oscar qualifying Manhatten Short Festival. In October, the Santa Fe International Film Festival. And in November, the Norwich Film Festival.
This Time Away picks up two awards at the L.A. Shorts International Film Festival
Magali Barbe’s latest short film This Time Away has scored a double win at this year’s L.A. Shorts International Film Festival, winning Best Actor for Timothy Spall and Best Foreign Film.
