It Should Have Been Me, the latest short film from director Emily Greenwood, is one of a handful of Halloween shorts from Sharon Horgan’s Merman Films for Sky. Commissioned by Sky Head of Comedy Jon Mountague and Comedy Commissioner Morwenna Gordon, the films will be released on-demand on 23rd October before airing on Sky Arts on the 31st.

Also being screened are Twin Thing by Kate Herron and A Deal by Nida Manzoor. The initiative is another push to champion underrepresented female voices in filmmaking.
