The next instalment in the Evil Dead movie franchise EVIL DEAD RISE, written and to be directed by Lee Cronin, begins its shoot in June. The film, produced by Ghost House Pictures for New Line Cinema, will star Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan. The film will launch on HBO Max in the U.S. Meanwhile, in the U.K., the movie will get a theatrical release via Studiocanal, and in France, through Metropolitan.
