Nowhere Fast – directed by Simon Gibney – arrives next week

Simon Gibney directs Nowhere Fast, a new six part comedy series about a millennial who returns to her small, Irish hometown. Created by stand-up comedian Alison Spittle and co-written with Simon Mulholland and Cian McGarrigle, the show airs on Mondays at 10pm on RTÉ2. A new trailer clip can be seen here.

The pilot follows Angela (Alison Spittle) as she returns home from London after being fired to reassess her life. The supporting cast includes Clare Monnelly (Moone Boy) and Genevieve Hulme Beaman (Pondling) as her best friends and Cathy Belton (Philomena) and Mark Doherty (Red Rock) as her family.
