Mark Bussell and Justin Sbresni are an award-winning writing, directing and producing comedy team who have enjoyed great success during their career in television, radio and theatre.
Their prime-time sitcom The Worst Week Of My Life, made by Hat Trick and starring Ben Miller, ran for three series on BBC1 and the format was sold to the U.S where it was produced by NBC Studios and ran on CBS. While in Los Angeles they were commissioned by ABC to write Rebound, an original sitcom pilot.
Other sitcoms they have created include Barbara, starring Gwen Taylor; The Robinsons for BBC2 starring Martin Freeman and Hugh Bonneville; Great Night Out for Hat Trick and ITV 1 and most recently, I Want My Wife Back – a co-production between Mainstreet Pictures and their own company Busby Productions – for BBC1.
