Owen has 20 years’ experience in the radio and television industries as a script editor, writer and producer. Credits include: Bob Servant (Scottish RTS winner), Miller’s Mountain (Scottish BAFTA winner), The Tuckers, Scot Squad, Lost Sitcoms, Piano Lessons, River City and Queen Of The New Year. During his time at the BBC, he has worked primarily in scripted development, achieving seventeen commission (including nine series) in the last twelve years.

Owen has also written theatre (Westenders), sketch (Adam and Joe show) and short films (On the Make) but the bulk of his experience is in narrative comedy. He has written for ITV, the BBC and Channel 4.
