Owen has spent 12 years in the radio and television industries as a script editor, storyliner and producer. Credits include Bob Servant (Scottish RTS winner), Mountain Goats (Scottish BAFTA winner), Scot Squad, A Most Civil Arrangement, Piano Lessons, River City and Mark Nelson’s Guide to Marriage. During his time at BBC Scotland, he has worked heavily in script development, achieving four series commission in the last three years.

In this time, he has also written theatre (Westenders), sketch (Adam and Joe show) and short films (On the Make) on the side, but his biggest love is TV sitcom. Owen has two spec scripts, ‘Yes Margaret’ and ‘Hello Sunshine’, available to read.
