Stephen Volk is a writer working across multiple disciplines. Stephen’s produced feature films include Gothic, director Ken Russell’s film about the genesis of Frankenstein; and the BBC/Origin Pictures Film The Awakening, which starred Rebecca Hall and Dominic West. Stephen has also worked extensively in television. He was the writer and creator of the cult Halloween mockumentary Ghostwatch for the BBC. His other original shows include two series of Clerkenwell’s RTS-Award winning paranormal show Afterlife, which aired on ITV1. Stephen has also written published short stories and theatre pieces. Currently he has a number of projects in active development with a range of UK broadcasters, as well as feature films.
