LSM writer Stephen Volk‘s latest project is adapting the popular series of novels by Phil Rickman – ‘Midwinter of the Spirit’ – for the new pay TV channel, ITV Encore.
The series focuses on Merrily Watkins, a female priest working as an exorcist in a small country village. After a nightmarish murder takes place, she becomes convinced it is the work of Satanists.
Filming on the 3×60 mins series is set to begin in Hereford in April 2015.
