Lee Cronin, the up and coming horror director behind the award winning short Ghost Train (pictured), has added rising talent Seána Kerslake (The Lobster) to the cast of his feature debut The Hole in the Ground. She will star as a single mother who becomes convinced her young son has been transformed by an evil force found in the depths of a mysterious sinkhole.

Produced by Savage Production’s John Keville and Conor Barry, Wrong Men’s Benoit Roland and MADE’s Ulla Simonen, the film has been backed by The Irish Film Board and Head Gear Films, with Bankside Films acquiring worldwide sales rights

The shoot is scheduled for the end of the summer.
