Magali Barbe’s latest short film This Time Away has scored a double win at this year’s L.A. Shorts International Film Festival, winning Best Actor for Timothy Spall and Best Foreign Film.
The L.A. Shorts International Film Festival is one of the largest shorts festivals in the world, accredited by the Academy or Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and BAFTA to name a few. 2019 was the festival’s twenty third year, making it the longest running short film festival in L.A.
