The latest sci-fi short from Magali Barbe, This Time Away, will be screening at the LA Shorts International Film Festival on 22nd July at 3:15 pm at Laemmle Noho.
Written and directed by Magali Barbe, this tender, sci-fi story focuses on the elderly Nigel (Timothy Spall – Mr Turner, Secrets and Lies), a recluse haunted by the family he’s lost and the fractured relationship with his daughter, as he meets a strange robotic companion who begins to disrupt his daily routine and remind him of the love he is still has to give.
